Bathe is Queenstown’s modern take on the age-old onsen tradition.
Tucked into Brecon Street, it’s a natural pause in the city’s rhythm, designed to slow your breath, soothe your body, and bring you back to yourself.
Architecturally crafted to reflect the landscape, our NZ-made hot pools invite you to unwind your way. Our pools are open from 9:00am until 11:00pm. Last arrival is at 10:00pm.

Choose between a Private or a Communal hot pool experience:
A vibrant social soak, set directly on Brecon Street. Start with a cold deluge under the monsoon-style shower, then sink into warm, magnesium-rich water while the city moves around you. With our best Remarkables view on site and minimal separation from the street, this pool is designed for shared moments, recovery, connection, and the kind of effortless social energy Queenstown does best.
Our private pools offer a more intimate soak, each designed for a slightly different kind of stillness: all filled with warm, magnesium-rich water to support recovery and deep rest. Choose Canopy for a fully enclosed, cocooned escape beneath the sky. Try Botanical, surrounded by native planting and soft light. Or opt for Mountain View, a semi-enclosed pool that opens toward Skyline, Ben Lomond and Coronet Peak. Each experience is complemented by our monsoon-style showers for a cold deluge reset between soaks.

Tucked at the base of the mountains and just moments from central Queenstown, Bathe is a design-led hot pool experience shaped by its surroundings. Architecturally crafted by local studio Hyndman Taylor, the pools blend raw concrete, wood, natural textures, and gentle landscaping to echo the beauty of the landscape itself.
Each pool is set to the perfect temperature inviting guests to slow down, bathe, and let the day melt away.

Towel hire is included with every booking. Simply leave your towel in the pool area after your session and we’ll take care of the rest.

Hydration plays a real role in how you feel during and after heat exposure, supporting circulation, recovery, and overall comfort. Feel free to bring your drink bottle (we have refill stations on site).
Every guest also receives a complimentary refreshment on arrival; choose from:
A can of Aspiring Water, sourced from the glacial-fed waters of Mt Aspiring National Park.
A can of naturally flavoured sparkling water.
A Juicies ice block.
Need another refreshment while bathing? Just pop down to our friendly team at reception.
Bathe is an alcohol-free space, so we kindly ask that you don’t bring or consume alcohol during your visit. We also ask guests not to bring outside beverages.

Our communal pool has a shared changing space, so we kindly ask you to keep your change and rinse nice and quick—so everyone gets their turn with ease.
Each private pool includes its own changing room and shower, making it easy to arrive, reset, and soak in peace.

For communal pool guests, private lockers are available for your belongings.
Private pool guests receive a Bathe tote at check-in—simply stow your items inside and hang it on the hooks provided.

You’ll find us at 34 Brecon Street, right in the heart of Queenstown.
There are several paid parking options nearby, but we recommend Skyline’s multi-storey carpark at the top of Brecon Street for the easiest access.

Rain, wind, or shine—our pools are perfectly sheltered and kept at just the right temperature. So no matter what the Queenstown skies are doing, your soak will still be sublime.

Tucked just above Queenstown’s town centre, Bathe sits a short walk from some of the area’s most iconic stops. We’re around four minutes uphill from Fergburger - the perfect pause after a post-burger wander, and just two minutes from Skyline Queenstown, making us an easy wind-down after the gondola, luge, or a day on the bike. Quietly positioned at the base of Bob’s Peak, Bathe is close to everything, yet once you’re in feels a worlds away.
