Before You Soak
Pregnancy & Soaking
If you’re pregnant, we recommend checking in with your healthcare practitioner before your session. Our pools are warm and calming but may not be suitable for everyone during pregnancy.
Age Guidelines
To help us keep Bathe calm, safe, and enjoyable for everyone, children under 5 aren’t able to join us.
All guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, no exceptions.
To maintain the peaceful atmosphere, the communal pool is reserved for guests aged 16 and over.
Alcohol
Bathe is not a licensed premises so we don’t sell alcohol on site, this also means you are unable to bring your own. But we do have an amazing, curated selection health drinks, your body will thank you.
Food
We kindly ask that no outside food is brought into the space. Drinks and light snacks will be available to purchase on arrival.
Water Purity
To maintain clean, chemical-balanced pools, please don’t introduce anything into the water—this includes salts, oils, and other products. A $300 cleaning fee may apply if the water is compromised.
Smoking
Bathe is a completely smoke-free environment. Vaping is also not permitted.

Health & Wellbeing
Please stay hydrated and take breaks when needed. If any of the following apply to you, we recommend checking with your doctor before booking:
High fever
Unstable or high blood pressure
Heart disease or recent heart event
Cancer or malignant conditions
Circulatory, liver, or kidney disorders
Conditions with a risk of bleeding or infection
Slippery Surfaces
Surfaces around the pools can be wet. Please move with care and wear appropriate footwear.
Your Experience, Your Responsibility
While we take care to create a safe and relaxing space, guests enter and soak at their own risk. Bathe by Aluume is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage during your visit.
Arrival, Timing & Cancellations
Opening Hours
We’re open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Final bookings begin at 9:00 PM.
Arrival Time
Please arrive 10 minutes before your session to check in and settle. If you're running late, we may not be able to extend your time.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Individual bookings: 24 hours’ notice required
Group bookings (3+ pools): 72 hours’ notice required
Missed bookings or late cancellations will be charged in full
Reschedules are subject to availability and, if under 24 hours, are at our discretion
No-Shows
If you don’t show up and haven’t contacted us, the full booking fee applies.
Atmosphere & Shared Space Etiquette
Bathe is a modern urban oasis — a refreshing break from the pace and hum of Queenstown. This isn’t a silent retreat. We encourage light conversation, connection, and a bit of playful energy while still being considerate of others around you. Think relaxed, social, and easy-going.
Our communal pool is designed to feel alive and shared — a place to unwind together. Feel free to chat, laugh, and enjoy the moment with friends or fellow bathers. Just keep it friendly and respectful so everyone can enjoy the vibe.
Communal Pool
Phones are welcome: we love seeing guests capture and share their experience. Take photos, film your soak, and post on socials (don’t forget to tag us)… just be mindful not to capture other guests without their permission, and keep audio off or use headphones.
Swimwear must be worn in all pools at all times.
Gift Vouchers
Valid for 12 months from date of purchase
Not refundable or redeemable for cash
No credit or change is provided for unused balances
Lost or damaged vouchers will not be replaced
Payment & Booking Fees
A 2% booking fee applies to all purchases. This helps cover card processing and admin costs and is refundable if cancellation occurs within the allowed timeframe.
Please note, we do not accept American Express at this time.
Communication & Privacy
When you make a booking, we’ll use the email address and mobile number you provide to send you essential updates about your visit: including confirmations, reminders, and any important changes to your booking.
If you choose to opt in during the booking process (for example, by ticking the relevant box), you also agree that we may send you occasional emails and SMS messages about Bathe by Aluume, including news, offers, and updates.
You can change your mind at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by following the opt-out instructions in our SMS messages (by replying STOP).
We handle your personal information in line with the Privacy Act 2020 and our obligations under the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007. We don’t sell your details to third parties, and only share information where it’s necessary to process your booking, deliver our services, or where required by law.
