Thermae is taking shape on the water.

At Queenstown Marina, our new floating sauna is being built on Lake Whakatipu. The stunning glass-fronted rooms gaze toward The Remarkables, with the lake on one side, the mountains on the other. It isn't open yet. But we want to show you a sneak peek at whats to come.

Three saunas. A steam room. A private sauna for six with its own cold plunge. Two communal saunas that step straight into the lake. It's being built off-site and floated into position, designed to sit with the water rather than on it.
