Giveaway Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern entry into “The Ultimate Queenstown Alpine Reset” giveaway (the “Promotion”) run by Aluume Unit Trust, trading as Aluume, 34 Brecon Street, Queenstown 9300, New Zealand, GST 145-711-088 (“the Promoter”). By entering the Promotion, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. 

1. Promoter and Promotion Period 

  1. The Promoter is Aluume Unit Trust (trading as Aluume), 34 Brecon Street, Queenstown 9300, New Zealand. 

  1. The Promotion closes at 11:59 pm NZST on 7 July 2026. The winner will be announced on 10 July 2026. 

  1. Entries received after the closing time will not be accepted. 

2. Eligibility 

  1. Entry is open to residents of New Zealand and Australia aged 18 years or over at the time of entry. 

  1. Employees, contractors and immediate family members of the Promoter, its prize partners (Air New Zealand, Luxury Stays QT, Over The Top Helicopters, Billy’s at Ayrburn, Escape Video) and any agencies associated with the Promotion are not eligible to enter. 

  1. The winner must hold a valid passport (if travelling internationally) and must be legally permitted to travel to New Zealand for the duration of the Prize. 

  1. Multiple, fraudulent, or automated entries will be disqualified. 

3. How to Enter 

To enter the Promotion, entrants must, during the Promotion Period, complete all of the following on Instagram: 

  • Follow @aluumewellness, @escape.video, @luxurystaysqt_nz, and @overthetophelicopters; 

  • Like and save the official giveaway post; and 

  • Tag the person they would experience the Prize with in the comments of the giveaway post. The tagged person must also be following @aluumewellness. 

Bonus entries: each share of the giveaway post to an entrant’s Instagram Story (from the original post, not a screenshot) counts as one additional entry. Shares must be visible to the Promoter (i.e. story is public, or @aluumewellness is tagged). Bonus entries may be capped by the Promoter at a reasonable number per entrant to maintain fairness. 

Entries via private message, email, or any channel other than as set out above will not be accepted. 

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Meta Platforms Inc., or any other social media platform. By entering, entrants release Instagram and Meta from any and all liability associated with the Promotion. 

4. The Prize 

There is one (1) prize available, with a total value of approximately NZD $12,000 (the “Prize”), comprising: 

  • Return flights for two (2) people from any Air New Zealand-serviced port in New Zealand or Australia to Queenstown, supplied by Air New Zealand. Value: NZD $3,000. 

  • Three (3) nights luxury accommodation for two (2) people in Queenstown, supplied by Luxury Stays QT. Value: NZD $3,000. 

  • A glacier heli-ride experience for two (2) people, supplied by Over The Top Helicopters. Value: NZD $2,000. 

  • Unlimited soaks at Bathe by Aluume during the winner’s stay, complete with robes, towels, and a gifted welcome pack on arrival. Value: NZD $1,500. 

  • A dining experience for two (2) people at Billy’s at Ayrburn. Value: NZD $1,000. 

  • A NZD $1,500 charitable donation made by Aluume, in the winner’s name, to a New Zealand registered charity nominated by the winner from a list provided by the Promoter. 

The Prize is not transferable, not exchangeable, and is not redeemable for cash or credit, in whole or in part. 

5. Prize Conditions 

  1. The Prize must be redeemed within twelve (12) months of the winner being notified. Unredeemed elements of the Prize after this period will be forfeited and no compensation will be paid. 

  1. Travel dates are subject to availability, blackout periods, and the terms and conditions of each individual prize partner. The winner is responsible for booking and confirming dates directly with each partner via the Promoter’s coordination. 

  1. Flights are economy class and subject to Air New Zealand’s standard fare conditions. Airport transfers, additional baggage, in-flight purchases, travel insurance, passport/visa costs, and any other ancillary travel costs are the winner’s responsibility and are not included in the Prize. 

  1. Accommodation is subject to Luxury Stays QT availability and standard booking terms. Property allocation is at Luxury Stays QT’s discretion. 

  1. The heli-ride is subject to weather conditions and Over The Top Helicopters’ flight scheduling. If the experience cannot be flown during the winner’s stay due to weather, reasonable efforts will be made to rebook within the redemption period; if rebooking is not possible the experience will be forfeited and no substitute provided. 

  1. The Bathe by Aluume component covers unlimited soaks during the winner’s booked stay nights, with robes, towels, and a gifted welcome pack on arrival. Treatments, food and beverage are not included unless specified in the welcome pack. 

  1. The Billy’s at Ayrburn dining experience covers a set menu for two people including standard non-alcoholic beverages. Premium beverages, additional courses and gratuities are not included. 

  1. The charitable donation will be made by Aluume directly to the nominated charity within 30 days of the winner confirming their charity of choice. The winner must select from a list of New Zealand registered charities (Charities Services NZ register) supplied by the Promoter. 

  1. The Promoter and prize partners reserve the right to substitute any element of the Prize with one of equal or greater value should that element become unavailable for reasons beyond their control. 

6. Winner Selection and Notification 

  1. The winner will be selected by random draw from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period. 

  1. The draw will take place at the Promoter’s office at 34 Brecon Street, Queenstown, on or before 10 July 2026. 

  1. The winner will be notified solely by Instagram direct message from @aluumewellness, and announced publicly on the Promoter’s Instagram account on 10 July 2026. 

  1. Entrants are warned to be mindful of fake accounts impersonating the Promoter. The Promoter will never contact entrants from any account other than @aluumewellness, and will never request payment, banking details, codes, or other sensitive information in order to claim the Prize. 

  1. The winner must respond to the notification within seven (7) days to claim the Prize. If the winner does not respond within this period, or is found to be ineligible, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw and select an alternative winner from the remaining valid entries. 

  1. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

7. Use of Winner Name and Likeness 

By entering the Promotion, the winner consents to the Promoter and its prize partners using the winner’s first name, Instagram handle, and any photographs or video content captured during the Prize experience for promotional, marketing, and editorial purposes across all media, in perpetuity, without further compensation. The winner may decline specific photography or video on the day, but participation in some general partner content is a condition of accepting the Prize. 

8. Privacy 

Personal information collected from entrants will be used for the purposes of conducting this Promotion and may be disclosed to the prize partners and service providers involved in fulfilling the Prize. Entrant data will be handled in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. Entrants may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting the Promoter at hello@aluume.co.nz

9. General 

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms, or engages in fraudulent or unlawful conduct. 

  1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter, prize partners, and their respective agents are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, illness, or expense suffered or sustained in connection with the Promotion or the Prize, including (without limitation) any loss arising from travel disruption, weather events, force majeure, or the acts or omissions of any third-party supplier. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights the entrant has under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ) or the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)), to the extent those rights cannot lawfully be excluded. 

  1. If the Promotion is interfered with in any way, or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant or to modify, suspend, terminate, or cancel the Promotion, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority. 

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand and any disputes arising in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
